Want to Take Your Bath Game to the Next Level?
Adding CBD and medicinal herbs to your next bath are a great way to ease sore muscles, especially after physical activity!
You Will Need:
Herbs of your choice
A reusable cloth teabag
Sunset CBD Tincture
A bath tub (this is the most important step!)
In a small bowl, use about 2TBS each of the herbs of your choice (see list of herbs below).
Stir the herbs together, and add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil(s).
Add 1-2 dropper fulls of Sunset CBD tincture.
Scoop the herbs into your cloth teabag.
Tie the teabag tightly so the herbs don't spill out into the bathtub.
Drop the entire teabag into your bathwater.
Compost the herbs and rinse out the cloth teabag and reuse for your next herb bath!
You want to choose dried herbs that will be soothing to the skin. You can use 2 herbs, or you could use 6 herbs! It just depends on what scents you like and what medicinal properties you are looking for. Here are some of our favorites:
Oat Straw: Oat straw is soothing and very gentle on the skin. Oat straw is a great base for any herb bath.
Lavender: Lavender is a mild herb that is wonderful for the skin.
Chamomile: A soothing favorite, with a very pleasant scent for any blend.
Calendula Flowers: Calendula flowers are very gentle on the skin, and a great addition to any herbal bath.
Comfrey leaf: This can be a great herb to use if you have very sore muscles.
Red Raspberry Leaf: Raspberry is gentle on the skin, and smells lovely.
There are so many herbs to explore! Just make sure you are using herbs that are gentle for the skin.
You don't need to go overboard with essential oils, especially if you're only making one bath at a time. Opt for milder essential oils, to remain gentle on the skin:
